Spokes Campaigning moves forward
MEMBERS are putting together some campaign ideas. Even if you are not a member, (or not yet a member!) you are likely to be interested in cycling.

Please let us know about any roads you think are dangerous and need improving, e.g. slower speeds, or traffic calming, or where a cycle path or signed route should go.

We would like to know of roads that should be slowed from 60 to 40 mph or from 40 to 30 mph. We are also thinking about where it would be appropriate to have 20 mph zones in residential areas and even "Home Zones" which could have even slower speeds so that children can safely play around their homes.

Please send your thoughts to SPOKES at The Environment Centre, marking the envelope "campaign ideas"
