Maps and guides are now online for the free Big Wheel of Kent cycle event on Sunday 13th June:

The Folkestone to Canterbury map and guide will be online in the next few days.

Swale Cycle Forum

A new Swale Cycle Forum is being formed. Spokes participate in a number of cycle forums, which engage members of the public, local and county authorities, businesses, etc. to further develop and promote cycling. Objectives of the new Swale Cycle Forum will include the creation of a Swale Cycling Strategy and proposing new cycle routes and parking. The forum’s first meeting will be on May 27th. New cycle path in Sittingbourne

Kent Highway Services have submitted a planning application for the creation of a short section of cycle path within Sittingbourne. This will form part of a larger scheme to convert existing paths to allow cycling as well as walking. Once complete it will benefit South Avenue Infants, South Avenue Junior, and Borden Grammar schools.
