A planning application for a cycling and walking path at Ashford’s Willesborough Dykes, running south from Asda towards Park Farm has been placed. Getting to Park Farm as a cyclist from central Ashford is currently quite indirect and this will help with providing a much more direct route. We recommend that you write in support of this application. Comments need to be received by 27th February at Ashford Borough Council.

Thursday, February 11th, 2010Spokes are delighted to report that the latest planning application for the development of the former railway embankment in Whitstable to extend the Crab & Winkle Way cycle route has been granted. The planning meeting heard that a planning application for the required bridges would soon be placed. Spokes encourages you to write letters of support for this once this happens and we’ll post updates here.
