Kent County Council and Kent Highway Services are currently consulting on a proposed cycle route that roughly follows the river Dour in Dover. From personnal experience of Dover and through emails I have received from cyclists who live and work in Dover, this proposed cycle route is long over due. One particular issue is that has been raised is that of cycle parking. It’s all very well having a cycle route, enabling people to travel through the heart of the Town, but where do they park? Sadly we haven’t mapped the town yet and this is on the lists of things to do.
